Catherine is a london based set and costume designer. She trained at Nottingham Trent University. Design credits include: Boots, You (Vault Festival), Salad Days (Union Theatre, Bath Theatre Royal), Screwed (Theatre 503), The Arsonists, Joking Apart, Blood Wedding, Punk Rock, Diaboliad (Courtyard Theatre), Mr Incredible with Justin Nardella, (Underbelly, Edinburgh), Rise and Fall, Ring of Envy, Double Trouble, Verona Road (Intermission Youth Theatre), The One Day of the Year (Finborough), Eisteddfod (Latitude Festival), Fit for Purpose (Pleasance, Edinburgh Festival), Othello (Bussey Building). Catherine has assisted several renowned designers including Giles Cadle, Leslie Travers, Stewart Laing, Antony McDonald, Rae Smith, Soutra Gilmour, Jamie Vartan and Tom Cairns. As Associate Designer credits include: Un Ballo in Maschera (Grange Park Opera), Barber Shop Chronicles (National Theatre, Australia/ New Zealand Tour, North American Tour), St George and the Dragon (National Theatre), The Hairy Ape (Old Vic, Park Avenue Armory; New York), I Puritani (Welsh National Opera, Liceu; Barcelona), La Voix Humaine/Dido and Aeneas (Opera North).  Last year Catherine participated in the finals of the Dutch Opera Design Award at Dutch National Opera. Catherine works regularly with the National Theatre to develop and deliver theatre design workshops for young people.
